Signalling Construction & Installation

Our experienced Signalling and Construction team, can offer complete signalling services, in the field of innovative and standard electronic systems.

We also provide valuable support for existing systems infrastructure with our services extending to asset surveys, systems integration, troubleshooting, level 1 & 2 maintenance and emergency assistance for Signalling issues if and when required.

Australian Railway Signalling and Electrical have:

  • extensive experience of signalling works in AC electrified territory;
  • completed a number of successful projects in brown and green field sites;
  • a comprehensive understanding of planning and implementing signalling, communication and electrical works; and
  • extensive knowledge of the signalling, communications and electrical systems infrastructure used in the Pilbara.

We are pleased to offer the following signalling construction and installation services:

  • Computer Based Interlocking technology schemes, mechanical and relay based interlocking systems.
  • Interlocking replacement and renewal including interface between new and existing signalling interlocking systems.
  • Interfaces to Integrated Electronic Train Control Centre's
  • Site survey, correlation, hand tracing and dilapidation reports.
  • Installation and construction of all way-side signalling and communication equipment such as: power including solar, Equipment Rooms, location cases, battery boxes, signal heads, bases, posts ladders & landings.
  • Complete mechanical installation and set-up of point operating mechanisms, including Sphero Lock.
  • Automatic Train Protection data transmitter (balises/loops/transponder) used for train position determination and/or passing supplementary information to trains.
  • Level crossings including predictor and track circuit operated.
  • Remedial and full interlocking/location renewal works.
  • In dual-signalled areas, other conventional equipment such as boundary signals, train detection equipment such as Automatic Warning Systems and LOA Boards.
  • Track based train detection systems including track circuit renewals and upgrades.
  • Asset protection equipment.
  • Full cable installation, diversions and renewals monitoring/replacement.
